Executive Assistant
You’re the reason everything runs — and the reason the founder can focus on what only she can do.
About the role
This is the role that makes everything else possible. You’ll manage the founder’s calendar, keep our students supported, hold the operational backbone of a growing education company, and catch the things nobody else notices.
We’re small, which means the job is broad. One day you’re coordinating a cohort launch, the next you’re untangling a scheduling conflict across three time zones or onboarding a new tool. If you like variety and hate chaos, you’ll do well here.
What you’ll do
- Manage the founder’s calendar, inbox, and priorities
- Coordinate cohort logistics: enrollment, onboarding, scheduling, materials
- Serve as first point of contact for student questions and support
- Maintain internal systems, documentation, and process
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and our accountant
- Assist with content production logistics and administrative projects
- Anticipate what’s needed before it becomes urgent
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years in executive assistance, operations, or office management
- Exceptional organization — nothing falls through the cracks with you
- You write clearly and professionally: emails that need no second draft
- Comfortable with digital tools (Google Workspace, scheduling, CRM, course platforms) and quick to learn new ones
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information
- Proactive: you solve problems before being asked
- Bonus: experience in a startup, small business, or education environment
Before you apply
This probably isn’t your role if
- You want a defined lane. This job is broad by design, and the edges move.
- You need to be told what’s next. Half the value here is noticing before anyone asks.
- Confidentiality feels like a formality. You’ll see student and financial information every day.
What we offer
- $52,000–$62,000 annual salary, depending on experience
- Full-time, W-2 position based in Round Rock, TX, with hybrid flexibility
- Broad responsibility and real influence on how we operate
- Direct work with the founder
- Growth into an operations leadership role as the team expands
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Health insurance: we’re finalizing our plan ahead of the first hires and will share the exact terms in the first conversation
